Fall in New Mexico is my favorite time of the year. The mornings are cold and crisp but by the afternoon the air is warm and healing. At this time of the year the skies are almost always bright blue, which make for a great back drop to take photos of the turning aspens. The Sangre de Cristo Mountains outside of Santa Fe are over 14,000 feet at the top. I take a trip annually to hike and take photos of the turning aspens. The colors are stunning.
